About
Editorial guidelines
These are the rules the catalogues and the Learn feed are held to. They exist so a number on this site can be traced back to the institution that published it.
Sourcing
A rate, fee, tenure or eligibility rule is only published when it appears in an institution's own schedule, a regulator's circular, or a government gazette notice.
Each catalogue entry carries the date it was last verified. When a value has not been confirmed, the field reads as not published rather than being filled with an estimate.
No invented figures
Sample data is never presented as live data. When a catalogue or the news feed has nothing to show, the page says so instead of displaying filler.
Coverage counts and comparison metrics describe what is actually in the catalogue at the time the page is served.
Corrections
Reports of an incorrect entry are checked against the original source. Corrections update the verification date so the change is visible.
